Bible Reading Plan
How to use this reading plan:
As we move through the reading plan, we’ll discover how to develop the habit of daily meditation on God’s word, learn how to hear the voice of God and then
With each daily reading:
Pick one or two verses that stand out to you.
Ask Holy Spirit: What are You saying to me here?
Write down what you are going to do with what He is saying.
What Are the Synoptic Gospels?
The word "synoptic" comes from the Greek word “synoptikos” meaning “to see the whole together”. Typically, this includes the books of Matthew, Mark and Luke, due to their similar perspectives of Jesus' ministry, but we have included the book of John because John’s account focuses on the identity of Jesus; whereas the other three focus on what Jesus said and did. All four of the Gospel books are in this reading plan laid out in a daily manageable fashion to help us know the life and lessons of Jesus. The goal of reading the Word is to come into a greater relationship with Jesus, so it is our prayer that as you read the Holy Spirit will give you revelation and you will know Jesus better, the one in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:3)
A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTORS
There is no better way to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd than to spend time in His Word. We have chosen to read through all of the Gospels as a focal point to launch us into a greater partnership with the Holy Spirit in this new season! So, let’s connect with Him in the word, and then with each other by sharing what we are learning
